On Saturday Morning while me and a friend were buying some bread for lunch we happened to catch a glimpse of the Dom post. Shocker!! The bitch fest on the whole front page from two bitchy woman about how the Royal family wont be attending Sir Ed’s funeral was nothing short of a laugh. It was like two 16 year old girls were having a rant on their blog.
The story showed no respect for Sir Ed himself who was not the kind of person that would condone this type of behavior – especially on behalf of him!!! Did you EVER see Sir Ed having a moan???? Well apart from on serious matters concerning the planet and so on…
My understanding of Sir Ed is that he would much prefer to be having a laugh “reminiscing about the past and planning the future”…
God speed Ed!!! I will try to erase all memory of that story from my mind and remember you for your accolades… RIP!!
Spider Man 3 gets xero / 10
Fcku you Columbia Pictures!!!! What on earth have you done!!!! Spider Man 3 was a stupid convoluted dancing / musical!!!! Spider man was plumpy, and to top it all off he went all ghey which is to say Emo!!!!!
Everybody I know who like 1 & 2 was sorely dissapointed.
New Goblin/Harry Osbor dies. Sandman/Flint Marko “actually” killed Spider Mans uncle and apologies to Spider Man. Spider Man lets him go and crys. Mary Jane Watson and Spider Man have a temporary split because Spider Man goes Emo (and real woman don’t do Emo). And.. hmmm Venom gets his but kicked. And what about that big plot hole where the goo lands right next to spiderman at the very start and nobody notices… OH MAN!!! It just sucked… what a bummer.

I don’t have much to add this this story… aside from the fact that Morfik are utter jerks. Jerks Jerks Jerks. Although I probably don’t need to say that because anybody wanting to patent technology is in fact a jerk… well I suppose the real Jerks are the American government and legal system that honour some of the crazy American patents out there. Alas….
On television last night Duncan Bannatyne from Dragons Den was saying that although a Patent Lawyer can tell you whether or not something is indeed patentable they can not tell you whether or not it is a good idea. In fact they are more then likely to tell you that it is regardless, even if your idea obviously sucks! This is “obviously” always in their interest.

Cabir Virus – Awesome!
I was having dinner on Friday night with Amber and her folks when my phone started vibrating in my pocket “exciting” and to my surprise it wasn’t somebody sending me a good night text but lo and behold it was somebody in the restaurant trying to send me a phone virus over bluetooth!! My N70 went ape and would not stop trying to accept cabir.sis files so I had to shut her down and restart the phone in off-line more, then disable blue tooth which let me resume my dinner in peace.
When I got home I trashed the file and found out what it was on the net. Now we’re okay again but hot damn! I feel sorry for the group of non techie looking ladies whom I suspect had the phone virus in the first place… sigh… oh well back to work.

We wasted a good hour or two trying to work out this issue the other day. Quite franky I can’t stand Debian for hosting websites – sure its okay to use for large network applications, and I am certain then many an old bearded linux geek wearing “I’m the 16 year old girl your were talking to online last night” t-shirts might beg to differ but for your run of the mill website go Centos or Fedora all the way!!!

If you’re running Apache2 on Debian stable, in order to install the rewrite module you simply need to:
# a2enmod rewrite
then restart the webserver:
# /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Just wondering wether anybody has a contact at microsoft.
My house was burgled last week and in the robbery my xbox 360 was stolen and the prick that stole it has rung xbox and registered it under his name. Microsoft have his name, address and phone number but have refused to give these details to me(which is fair as I would remove his hands) but have also refused to give these details to the New Zealand police as it is a privacy issue. Does anybody here have a contact at microsoft that I could make contact with in order to recover my property?

Hey guys. Damn its so hard to keep ones blog up to date when one is so busy! I’ve started doing Yoga again and boy does it hurt – my thighs were / still are aching. But its good, I really want to get fit again and do more tramping this summer.
I just saw An Inconvenient Truth – damn you Americans for not following the Kyoto Protocol, when New York is covered in Water I’ll be here laughing at you voters that got it wrong!!! I fully believe all individuals can help change the global warming problem but it feels or perhaps seems moot without America coming to the Kyoto party! However. I wont let that stop me doing my bit to help – this weekend I’ll plant a tree at the family farm and buy some energy efficient light bulbs (come to think about it why haven’t governments banned non efficient ones yet – are the profits / rights of a few light bulb companies worth out planet???)
Otherwise I don’t have much to report that I can write quickly about. But its all good… I’m happy, life is pretty good.
