Bretts Palsy, Habeas Corpus, and Dennis. Three words that should forever be united under any decent google search. I was Dennis, I had Bretts Palsy, and the play was Habeas Corpus. And now its finished. It was all so much fun – the set building, the rehearsing, the play, and the set dismantling… well that was sad not fun.
So anyway the play finished on the weekend. It was a blast – we all hung out at the school hall until at least 2am by which time we were all pretty much zonked. I really enjoyed this play, probably in part because I felt a little more confident and it was easier for me to act in a comedy.
Thanks for everyone who turned up. To those who didn’t… have a good excuse… well… you know who you are! I’ll remember that next time you have something special ;)
I’ll be upload some photos in the not too distant future.
just wanna say now im now rehearsing for Habeas corpus for A level exam. we will performing it next month and it is sooo much fun and really funny. im not dennis i will be playing Arthur. nothing else to say just glad you enjoyed it too.!
i too am in rehearsals for habeas corpus for an amateur dramatics club in the UK i have the smallest part in the show Mr Pardue, this is because i have just finished a show in which i had the lead so i needed something i could relax with lol.
Awesome, its still a funny role though – I love the way Arthur talks to him on the phone while he’s busy seducing Felicity Rumpers…
I would love to do this play again – its soo funny, honestly this play was laugh a minute type material *sigh*….
Good luck!
