Having thought about it a lot over the last couple of days, I reckon it is about time I posted about something positive. The truth is life is really really good right now. Not perfect, but as perfect as it can be. Next week Amber and I are going away on Holiday to Hawaii, and the day after we get back I am going to Osaka, Beijing, and then Japan for work related stuff - put it this way my Airpoints have never looked better, and I’ve never been as travelled as I have now.
I am also in another play. It is a comedy and my part in it is rather humorous; its called Habeas Corpus, written by Alan Bennet in 1973. Which reminds me, I should setup a Word Press site for the Butterfly Creek troupe at some stage.
Tom and I are building some cool Word Press plugins. An SMS (text message) plugin, and a E-Commerce (shopping cart) plugin that connects to two Kiwi payment gateways. I’ll reveal more info when the time is right. One other thing, Instinct has launched another interesting website ito.co.nz, and we’re about to launch 3 others.
Lets admit it the hutt city council sucks. If you live in Eastbourne (beautifull sunnny eastbourne) the chances are you’re paying for it. Paying for it. and paying for it. If you’re thinking about buying in Eastbourne, stop thinking now!!! The rates are inflated and you get nothing back in return. They messed up the roads, and once you pass days bay (where they charge you a fortune in rates) the council actually do less for you… Lets take the beach, its covered in stones - you will not be sun bathing down by Konini Street! Not at the beach anyway. So whats the moral that gives us pause…. beats me :P
Some of you will remember earlier this year I performed in “William Shakespears - The Two Gentlemen of Verona” with my partner in crime Amber Baldock. Today I stumbled across this little write up in the Salient. Enjoy the read.
Because my last post was a rant. I thought I better follow it up with another post of equal calibre and fire! And brimstone! And heat! And passion. Anyway rumor has it that there is something lurking, something rather noddy…
So what is “the nod”?
- v. to doze off when high on opiates
- The nod is an action one partakes in if someone is being a dumbass. The person sends the nod by nodding to another person that is in a convenient location near the dumbass. Upon recieving the nod, it is only appropriate to punch the dumbass as hard as you can.
So what is “the nod”?
- Word on the street is that it is a new website being made by corporate Wellington to appeal / help tourists.
Thats fantastic, what is your point you might ask? My point is simple, given the first meaning of “the nod” is it a good name for a website, i’m not sure. Ask yourself that question.
Can quite franky kiss my ass. Problems with Coke Tunes:
- to use coke tunes i have to use Internet Explorer
- already unsecure Internet Explorer then demands my settings are on crap mode (i have to turn off pop up blocking, and i have to lower a whole lot of other security settings
- you can only download WMA files - they blatantly lie and say that WMA is “populor” - it might be populor in some little social circles but quite frankly it sux and the majority of teenagers/and geeks all know it
- WMA means I can’t play it on my iPod. iPods dominate. For coke to publicly diss iPodscoke must be in bed with Mirosoft up there ass
- And other stuff!!!
- Hmmph!
