This is one of my old favourites. I still find it very clever, infact it reminds me of Asimov in style.

…When it is Public Address thats when! ;)
I have just been thinking about blogging and all that shit. I was at a course last week and the person taking the course was talking about blogs and how great they are, he then carried on to promote Public Address. Which is fine. Except not as a Blog. In my opinion Public Address in not a Blog. It’s a comercial experiment and an inexcusable misuse of the term. Who really cares though huh. I DO. I cant stand seeing sites like PA (so called blogs) winning awards for being a blog site when the real bloggers continue to feed content into the internet for the love of it, with out recognition, for free!
I might be misunderstanding PA. So you might want to take this as a grain of salt. Otherwise kiss my bum :D

The hunger hit me in Amsterdam. Blinking at Van Gogh¹s great flowerpots of canvas, I found myself reaching for the fresh broodje-or bread roll-in my pocket. My impulse was to plunge it into the heart of The Starry Night, and dab up a deep scoopful of sweet colour. The iced waves of light, the heavenly brushstrokes looked so scrumptious.
It got worse in Wellington. Fomison gave off a sickly smell, a whiff of something delicious, forbidden. It was hard not to steal a taste; I found the security guards watching my slavering mouth. Hotere was harder to swallow. All those dark reaches-an olive dip as wide as a wetland, a gateau alive in a black forest. But I was up to it.
So I went and bought lunch. Now I sit staring at Ewan McDougall¹s painting Ever Read Nietzche? with its salmon pinks and tangerine skies. McDougall understands the ravenous. Scents of fresh cream and pesto rise from his canvas. The face of the upside-down-man is a flurry of marzipan, the tastiest possible spoonful. Pass the salt.
Its time for all you Wellington and Auckland based dance freaks to get out your Dancing Shoes. Detroit DJ Kevin Saunderson is coming to town. Kevin Saunderson played last year at Metro, it was virtually a spiritual experience, I have never seen a crowd of people so totally taken by the music. If you need to unwind then this is the party to do it at!!!

Amber kicks ass!!!! I trashed the CSS for MOM the other day, I was pretty depressed about it. It was a big CSS file and it was an advanced one so recreating it was not in my interests. To my utmost delight Amber who is a fan of MOM helped me find an old version of the CSS in her temporary internet files at Ninox!!!! Yay Amber and Yay Ninox!!!!
It is kind of amusing. Some stupid dumb ass is posting spam links to my site, I simply select all the spam and then click delete. This takes me about 30 seconds. So unless they have automated the spam then it must take them a lot longer then my 30 seconds. Because the spam is never seen by anybody (as I approve all comments) what they are doing would seem like a complete and utter waste of time, what I am saying is that they are wasting more of there own time then my time. Having said that this post has taken me a few minutes. However I enjoy the fact that just one spammer might read this and realise that there life is actualy completely crap and mine is better :D
It is a Monday night, I am at home. It has been a long time since I have posted on my website, in a way it is kinda sad. What, with all these grandiose ideas of publishing my blog and becoming a millionere… It might not happen today, but it will happen! So anyway, I am doing this course on being a boss and running a own business and I have to admit I am really liking it. Where it doesnt apply for Instinct it does for some of my other ventures. I really enjoy learning, it is way less stressfull then really running a business.
I even changed the font tag from lucinda to verdana and fucked up the style sheet!!!! Grrrr!!!! I dont suppose anybody wants to help….
