6:11

Cryptic Indeed.

6:11 today, not so shabby an achievment. I’m really looking forward to 7:00. That will be something to celebrate, once I hit 7:00 Mind of Mufasa will get a page two. Really celebrating one year of postings, insane ramblings, and musings.

On Saturday Amber and I hit 6 months. It was nice, Amber called from Ausie. Woke me up infact - we dont want to go there though, see last post.

I have a meeting now. Just about to secure a client! Yippie!

sick of being sick!

Here I am at home on a Saturday feeling sorry for myself. I am a victim of the flu. I am grumpy, and there are a whole heap of things I should be doing but am not. For instance eating, shopping, cleaning, and fuck knows what else. Just Human stuff that I should be doing, like sorting out my dirty clothes.

I woke up in the middle of the night having had a weird dream. It started in Crofton Downs shopping center, except the shops were different. I got conned and bought a crappy PDA from a pawn shop with the last of my money. Next minute I was walking down the railway line alone pondering to myself that if I had a bicycle I could sabotage the shop and get away in time before the police got there. The next minute I’m at an outdoor speach where I think a drill sargent is drilling us. Strange thing is we were all half naked. Then I woke up. Went to the bathroom. Felt really sorry for myself and greived a little for Amber.

Today I went to the morning NA meeting and had coffee with my peeps afterwards at Eva Dixons. I had scambled eggs on toast and a Soy Bowl Latte. I had a game of Dance Revolution and a game of Pool. I am getting better at Dance Dance Revolution and cant wait to play babe again. I’m going to go shopping now. Ciao Belle.

State of Play (bbc)

Over the last few weeks I have been enjoying State of Play a Drama produced by the BBC. If you havent been lucky enough to catch it on the TV then I would recomend buying the DVD. Failing that have a look around at all the other BBC DVD’s for sale.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Amber has bailed for 6 weeks to do an Art Concervation course. Gah! I’m already bored and lonely. I’m happy she’s doing something she loves. Because we are a team it’ll be good for both of us in the long run.

I figure that when you spend a lot of time with somebody you love, and then they arent there, you do notice them missing. An empty space. When you look around they arent there, I cant squeeze her leg or rub her neck when we’re driving, I cant give her beer hugs when she’s not prepared, and there is nobody to cuddle and roll over to in the mornings. Absense makes the heart grow fonder they say! I cant Wait to see her in 5 weeks and visit Melbourne again, it should be a blast.

More to come…

DIY Arcade Kits

Late last night Brett came home and we played old skool spacie games on his new x-arcade, arcade game emulator. It was very cool. We played Mortal Combat, 1942, and Wonder Boy. Glorious Wonderboy, It reminded me of when I was a sporty 10 year old computer game player.

So. I have been thinking what I must do is embark on a project (soon, oneday, when i can afford it) and make my own arcade box. Here are some examples of what you can do if you put your mind to it:

Andre Baldock - 30th

Last week we went and celebrated Andres birthday at his and Maria’s place. We (Amber really) bought him some Cuff Links and a Newton Scale. Both kinda very cool. On the weekend we went to his party at their place. Top Night. Sam who used to go out with Amber Valentine is seeing a chick who offered me Rush. Sam was there. Leon played. Talked to some lady teacher from TCS. Amber thought (wrongly) that I was flirting. Dry ice was kinda cool. Blah!

House on the hill

Amber and I recently just finished another house sitting stint in the bourne. The house belonged to her uncle and aunt. It had a nice view, open fire place, bath over looking WGTN, cats, and a comfy bed with a mirrored ceiling (ok a window - but close enough). We catered for our folks, which was very cool. We made little rolls, and bread slices with pesto sauce among other things.
